About the Project
Loving Cotton is my eco-conscious clothing and accessories brand, built around sustainability, ethical production, and timeless minimal design. From early concept to launch, the project involved thorough market research, strategic planning, and hands-on execution to turn the idea into a working brand and online store.
I began with extensive research—exploring the sustainable fashion space, analyzing the market, identifying real customer needs, and shaping a concept that feels modern while staying responsible.
Building Loving Cotton was a multi-step project with many parts coming together:
Materials & suppliers — I chose partners and fabrics without compromising on quality or ethics, focusing on certifications like OEKO-TEX®, OCS, and the Fair Wear Foundation to support safer, more responsible production.
Brand creation — I developed the logo, visual direction, and messaging so every element reflects the brand values: sustainability, simplicity, and timeless design.
Online store setup — I customized the store to create a smooth, intuitive shopping experience from browsing to checkout.
SEO & digital strategy — From day one, I optimized product pages and metadata to make the store easier to discover through search.
Marketing & analytics — I monitored performance closely, tested different approaches, and adjusted the strategy to improve acquisition and retention.
Sustainable packaging — I avoided plastic and used recycled paper and cardboard, because sustainability also includes how the product is delivered.
Launching the first collections — seeing real customers wear the first pieces made the project feel real.
Building an SEO-led store — organic traffic is growing consistently, validating the long-term strategy.
Creating a brand people relate to — customers connect with the values behind the brand, which is the most meaningful result.
Making sustainability feel approachable — the goal was to make conscious choices easier, not complicated.
Loving Cotton isn’t just a brand - it’s a passion project that turned into something real. It challenged me, taught me, and gave me a space to create something I truly believe in. And this is just the beginning.
